On Sunday 1 February, hundreds of Iranians gathered outside the Victorian Parliament in Melbourne to protest against the Islamic Republic of Iran, following weeks of deadly crackdowns across Iranian cities. Demonstrators expressed solidarity with protesters in Iran by carrying portraits and banners and raising international flags, including those of Israel and the United States.
